Start your Friday off right!

Here is our Friday Short Stack of articles, tools, and insights that we’ve come across over the course of the week and thought you might find them helpful.

  1. Check out what Adam Connell has to say about Blogger Outreach. Don’t expect any fill in the blank email templates here, but he does offer some really solid advice. Promoting content on your blog and building relationships with other people in your niche or industry is hugely important. Adam stresses the importance of personalization in your outreach and an attitude that looks to do something for them first, instead of asking for a favor right out of the gate.
  2. Unsplash provides free, “do whatever you want with” high quality photos. Having attention grabbing graphics and images on your site and on your social media can really make a big difference. This is a great place to pull some stock images from at no cost. They put out 10 new photos every 10 days.
  3. Kevan Lee at the Buffer Blog has a fix for your writer’s block. He has compiled a really helpful list of 95 blog post ideas and some other thoughts to take you from staring at your screen to writing good content.
  4. Haven’t yet found your passion? Check out Moe Kittenah’s guide for “real people” on finding what you love to do and following your passion. #1 on his list is “Find a Niche.” One point that stood out to me was “Consider how your unique skills, quirks or interests might translate into or transform a business.” It’s definitely worth a read for some Friday inspiration.
